What United Airlines Won’t Tell You. (Or anyone else)

A Texas-based client of mine is launching a new charter flight option from Dallas and Houston to Aspen and Eagle Vail commencing this summer.

The plane, a Saab 2000, is a truly remarkable aircraft. Not to be confused with the smaller Saab 340, the 2000 combines near jet cruising speed with turboprop fuel economy. Flight time from Dallas Love Field to either Aspen or Vail is just under 2 hours; from Houston Hobby the flying time to either destination is 2.5 hours.

Originally designed to seat 50 passengers, Wildcat’s two Saab 2000 aircraft are configured with only 30 seats, thereby providing unbelievable leg room and overhead storage capacity. The aircraft is equipped with an active sound deadening system that produces a remarkably quiet in-flight experience.

Bags fly free, pets are allowed with some restrictions and TSA hassle is completely avoided. Wildcat Touring also offers volume discounts on multiple tickets purchased at one time.
