I have a soft spot in my heart for Basalt and the Mid Valley in general, as our first family home was in the Willits subdivision. We purchased the developer’s model home 18 years ago, which means our street was the only one with homes on it. The rest of Willits was a pile of cobble stones.
Fast forward to this week and we are in the land of nostalgia as we are working on three deals in the area. We have a half duplex under contract with a buyer, a short term rental on behalf of a buyer in Missouri Heights and a long term rental in the coveted neighborhood on Lewis Lane.
Not only do we know why the Mid Valley is special, we get to share the story with clients on a very personal level.
And here is my definition of Basalt: *a dark, fine-grained volcanic rock that sometimes displays a columnar structure. It is typically composed largely of plagioclase with pyroxene and olivine. Also a small, highly desirable residential community in between Aspen and Glenwood Springs Colorado. The second part makes for much better marketing material!
As we know, it takes teamwork to succeed and I need to acknowledge and thank the professionals that are part of these transactions.
