Over the holiday break, I had the opportunity to show my $17.5mm Aspen Highlands listing to Josh and Matt Altman from the reality show, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. I fully expected the full entourage of L.A. types with a film crew in tow. Admittedly, I was surprised when the brothers pulled up driving themselves and their Dad who happens to be a full-time Aspen resident. They were far more down to earth than expected.
Immediately upon getting out of the car, they were both blown away by the home’s proximity to the chairlift. Matt’s comment was, “I love Aspen, but I would much rather be up here away from all the craziness. This house is worth $17mm.” They walked through the house shooting video with their iphone which they later edited into a Vlog for their Youtube channel.
Love them or not, these guys know high-end real estate and have seen it all. Their appreciation of my listing gives my seller instant credibility and fantastic exposure. The fact that they are also fellow brokers on our Douglas Elliman team gives us a great story line for the power of Elliman’s brand.
